You made it-the end of the school year! Pat yourself on the back and relish in everything you and your kiddos have accomplished this year. Summer is upon us and although progress will take a slightly different form that looks more like fun in the sun, rather than reading and math, don’t forget that gains will continue to be made! Trips to the museum and zoo, swimming, reading and telling ghost stories over a camp fire will help increase language skills, build muscle tone, and encourage pragmatics. We’ll be making progress at the clinic too, so remember to check in with your child’s therapist if you have summer plans that may impact your schedule and for more insight as to what summer carry-over skills will look like for you!
In between all the fun, remember to check out our May blog!
